Summary:
The wild west in Kurdistan: After the fall of Saddam Hussein, Baran, a Kurdish hero of the independence war, accepts the post of the police commander in a godforsaken village in the border triangle between Turkey and Iraq. Khwakork is a Mecca of unlawful trade, six months in the year snowbound and only with the horse accessible. In the isolated mountain village a school was also recently opened. The nice Govend comes as a teacher to the village, even if her twelve brothers try to prevent this.
In Khwakork nobody wants except Baran`s law and order, nobody wants a school and only Govend dreams of the love.
